There are so many apps out there for adults (18+) to make money, but what about the youth? BackYards solves this problem by focusing our efforts to give young people a way to make money. Similar to apps like some of the top delivery or ride-sharing apps you're familiar with. We use similar methods that focus on giving the general public a means to earn extra money via a mobile application hosting the process. We are different, we give young people a chance to make money around their community and contribute back through honest earnings.
Do you remember as a kid going door to door in your neighborhood asking to rake, shovel, or cut to earn a few bucks? Well, those days are gone. BackYards gives its users the ability to make money in their neighborhood by connecting them with users called Needers. Needers post certain yard task which appears in the form of a map marker visible to all Helpers nearby. It also allows its users to post various yard work projects they need to be done. Users called "Helpers" help by doing the work the "Needers" need to be done.
How to use BackYards application:
Helpers:
Merely sign in or register, then modify your settings by adding an image of yourself, the work you do, and your contact information. Go to your map and look for icons on the map to appear which are those who need work done. A Needer will see your map marker and if you have the right skill you could be selected to complete the job. If you receive a request to do a job you can either reject or accept it.
Needers:
Merely sign in or register, then modify your settings by adding an image of yourself, the work you need to be done, and your contact information. Press the Request Service button to have your map icon appear to Helpers nearby. A Helper will accept the job and contact you. Remember to check the Helpers skill set to see if they are a good fit for your yard project. BackYards does not regulate prices, each Needer getting work done by a Helper should discuss an acceptable rate for service.
Removing your Map marker:
Log out of BackYards to remove your map marker.
